Personally, I have always had marvelous success shopping at Goodwill. We have found and purchased countless pieces from J.Crew, Banana Republic, and Ann Taylor Loft {all in close to brand new condition}  for mere dollars. But the key to such luck is persistence and patience. You can’t just stroll into Goodwill and expect to find everything and anything you are searching for. For me, an example would be with these black heels. I knew I’d want some black shoes for Sunday Mass during Fall/Winter, but the odds of finding a pair this year that actual fit  seemed a bit low. So rather than wait for the perfect pair to just show up in Goodwill, I went ahead, took a chance, and ordered a pair from ThredUp.

You may have heard of ThredUp before. Essentially, it is an online thrift store with a thriving selection of clothes, shoes, and outerwear, all in relatively good condition. So far, I have only ordered from them once, but I had a good experience and would order from them again. My order arrived in a cute polka dot box wrapped in cute polka dot tissue paper sealed with a colorful sticker that read (in cute, swirly handwriting<3) something along the lines of “enjoy!” It’s amazing how much presentation affects  one’s experience!  The shoes themselves where actually first securely wrapped in bubble wrap, to prevent damage during shipping. 🙂

If you are interested in checking out ThredUp (which I suggest you do!), then you can click on this link to get $10 off your first order.  If you do spend those $10, then I will get a $10 credit as well for referring you. From there, it is very simple for you to refer your friends to get the same $10 credit. 🙂

Have a fabulous week!
