I have a thing for borrowing clothes from my younger sister and from my Mom.  I’m sure some of you can relate.  Like, it just multiplies your wardrobe by twos and threes when you have access to someone else’s closet– especially when that filled with stylish treasures!! {My sister and my Mom also borrow clothes from me, but definitely less frequently.}  I was chatting with a couple friends yesterday, and I discovered that there was definitely a trend with older sisters borrowing younger sisters clothes.  Very interesting.  Two of the girls in the circle had older sisters, and both claimed that these sisters often borrowed clothes and shoes without a second thought.  My third friend in the circle ( who has one younger sister) sympathized with me by stating that it is often tempting for her to borrow her younger sisters clothing too!  Us older sisters…….

Speaking of borrowing clothes…… This chambray button down belongs to my younger sister, and it is one of my favorite blouses ever! I have been wanting to wear it for a long time and she was so sweet this morning and let me borrow it.  I paired it with darker wash jeans, a chunky knit sweater, and western style boots.  My sweet Grandmother gave me the boots when we went to visit them over Thanksgiving, (thank you!!)– I have a feeling I will be getting a lot of use out of them. 🙂

I wore this outfit to attend a play put on by our homeschool group.  Most of the actors were in middle and elementary school, and they did a simply fantastic job with their production, A Christmas Carol. Everything from the music (piano, violin, and caroling) to the makeup, to the costumes and backdrops was incredible.
